Advanced Detection Technology, LLC and their partner, Mechanical Specialty, Inc., were recently featured by a local news station, WFMY News 2 in Greensboro, NC, for their part in helping to secure entrances at FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.
Advanced Detection Technology, located in Mooresville, NC, is the global leader in designing and manufacturing Under Vehicle Inspection Systems (UVIS). The company’s suite of portable and fixed systems, called LowCam UVIS, are widely used around the world to create more efficient and safer access control solutions.
Mechanical Specialty, located in Greensboro, NC, offers custom-designed, precision machining and metal fabricating. The company was tasked with building the outside shells for Advanced Detection’s LowCam VI108 under vehicle inspection ramps that were bound for FIFA18.
The LowCam VI108 UVIS is one of the lightest and most portable inspection ramps in the industry and was specifically commissioned by Advanced Detection’s partners in Russia to be a part of security checkpoints at FIFA World Cup 2018.
